About Us

The MISSION of the Greenville County Foster Parent Association is to educate, support, advocate and bring awareness to the Greenville County foster care community.      

Our VISION is to empower, support and advocate for foster parents and the children for whom they care. This is best achieved by providing face to face and virtual training; sharing resources and information; and encouraging communication and information sharing with other members of our community. By working with local government, media, churches, charities and businesses we promote a positive image of foster care and increase the visibility of fostering in our communities. In collaboration with county, state and national foster parent associations we advocate for appropriate services and support for foster parents.
